Anna Rusakova. Visual concept for the music video.
The protagonist leaves a noisy city through a solitary door and finds herself in open natural space. The boundary between her body and the world gradually disappears: skin becomes earth and bark, the face becomes an island and a rock.
Nature in the protagonist’s gaze – a key frame of the Voskresenie music video concept.
DIRECTING PRINCIPLE
From the city – to nature. From the body – to space.
The music video is built as a continuous transition. The city stays behind the door, and the protagonist’s body separates less and less from the world around her. Surreal images arise inside the story through changes of scale and state.
Grass, water, clouds and birds give the rhythm its pauses. The final image returns us to the door: it empties, grows over with roses and becomes part of nature.

01
Transition – from the city to the field
A solitary door stands in an empty field and at the same time works as a portal: the protagonist steps out of a dense, noisy city into completely open natural space. The city exists only inside the doorway; outside there is only the field, grass, a clear horizon and no houses, cars, roads, wires or other infrastructure.
02
Entering natural space
A low camera position. The protagonist is already on the other side of the door: around her only branches, sky and natural geometry. The body and the surrounding world begin to draw together.
03
Earth / sprouting
A close detail of the hand: the protagonist touches the earth and plants begin to sprout directly out of the hand. The first physical metamorphosis stays intimate and material.
04
Surreal insert – the palm as landscape
The scale of the body changes: a woman’s palm turns into natural relief. The surreal frame is built into the story as the next step in dissolving the boundary between body and earth.
05
Tree / merging
The protagonist enters the structure of the tree: body, arms and branches form a single composition. What matters is not a sense of fantastical transformation but of physical closeness between materials.
06
Surreal insert – the face becomes an island
An enormous woman’s face becomes part of a rocky island. Stone, grass, skin and water exist at one scale; birds strengthen the sense of a living natural space.
07
Breathing frame – grass
After the dense bodily metamorphosis – a pause: only tall grass bent by the wind. Nature does not turn into a separate theme; it carries on the rhythm and the breathing of the protagonist.
08
Water / portrait
The transition to water. The face and the water surface begin to read as one material; the movement becomes slower and more intimate.
09
Surreal insert – the face in the water
A frontal close portrait: the face lies calmly on the surface of the water. This is a simpler and more bodily image of the water phase – without a complex mixing of the elements.
10
Submersion
The body goes under the water calmly, without struggle or resistance. Not a literal drowning, but an image of acceptance and of passing into another state.
11
Surreal insert – the face as cliff
A giant woman’s face becomes a coastal cliff. A small figure by the water underlines the impossible scale: the person now reads as the landscape itself.
12
Eye / nature inside
A macro detail of the eye. The sky and birds are reflected in it – nature no longer only surrounds the protagonist but is literally inside her gaze.
13
Breathing frame – clouds
The clouds move slowly, light passes through them. The air phase is built through real natural processes rather than through man-made objects.
14
Breathing frame – birds
A flock of birds crosses a large empty sky. This is a visual rhyme with breathing, with the voice and with the sense of release from materiality.
15
Air / open field
The protagonist stays inside the air phase: a small figure in an enormous open space, the wind moving hair, clothing and grass. What matters here is the scale of the air, not any separate prop.
16
Surreal insert – the arm as space
A giant woman’s arm becomes part of the open landscape. The frame continues the motif of changing body scale and ties the air block to the bodily metaphor.
17
Surreal insert – the ear as a natural form
A quiet surreal chord closer to the finale: a part of the woman’s body now reads entirely as a natural hollow and relief.
18
After the transition – the empty door
The protagonist is no longer in the frame. Only the door is left in the field – the trace of the boundary through which she once entered this space.
19
Finale – the door overgrown with roses
The final image: the door has gradually become part of nature and is overgrown with rose bushes, which in the overall black-and-white system read through texture, light and the density of the vegetation. The transition is complete.
